Personal Opinion: Meat eating

Hello again!

This is my second post of the day, and here I will share with you my personal opinion about eating meat.

Sincerely I'm a person who eat meat, but fortunately I'm not a fanatical consumer.
When I was a teenager (14 years old I think) I tried to stop eating meat, mainly because of the pain that caused me to know about animal abuse and the livestock industry.
That time I failed, not because I couldn't resist eating meat, but because I was eating badly (I cooked) and that affected my health: I was wick, with low blood pressure, and passed out hahaha.

But, come on... I think everyone knows that eating meat isn't the most healthy and friendly decision.
There is my point of view:

1. Not eating meat could represent the loss of protein and iron (like what happened to me). But a balanced vegetarian diet offers many advantages, for example a much lower consumption of saturated fats, more fiber, and could be even cheaper.
2. If you have time to cook your own food and you are looking for a vegetarian diet as balanced as possible, being a vegetarian person will be very beneficial.
3. You will save money on meat, and you can grow your own vegetables in your home (if your house is small, you can try with a vertical orchard).
4. Stopping meat consumption would reduce the demand, and environmental pollution could be reduced.

In conclusion I think is a personal decision, but the most important think is to be conscient about the planet, the animals and the personal healty.
I don't usually be the one that cook my meals, my mom does it... so if she cooks meat, I eat (although it's unusual because it's expensive).
But really, I can't cook meats, because I don't like the blood in my food... so I think that when I live alone, or I cook, I will not eat meat, because I can even cook it! It won't be difficult because I don't like it either hahah.
