Changes to my study programme

Hello again!

I hope you all being well!

Today I will talk to you about my study programme and the changes I will like to make.

It's difficult to think about what is wrong or what could be better in my study programme because I don't know very well another one hahaha.

First of all, I study Industrial Desing, and I think I have awesome teachers in the discipline. Really they have so much knowledge and they share it to us.

Now I'm in my 6th semester (6/10) and I'm closer to start the investigation of muy Final Degree Project!

So in that moment of my life I think that my formation as a Industrial Designer is well, but since I would like to know much more about productive processes and prototypes. In every project is difficult for me resolve how to do the forms that I create in my mind and that I draw in the papers!

The instalations and the tools lab of the University are not the best. There are many productive processes that can't be done in the tools lab, and therfore don't teach.

I also wish that in my University were more edges of the Industrial Design that could be learned. Specialization Electives have that function, but they don't fulfill it, because all the students think that they are not very interesting and it is not what we are searching for specialize our professional career.

For example I'm interesting in the Design for the Education: Didactic products or spaces that contribute to learning in the early age of children... But in the University of Chile I can't find absolutly nothing about that area of the Industrial Design.

The study programme has been changed recently, but anyway I thank the teachers who have taught me, because they help me to find books or designers that do contribute to my training in Design.
