AN EXPERT ON MY FIELD

Hi everyone! I'm back!

Today I'm going to write about a person who inspires me in Design (the career I study).

That person is... Sangwon Seok 👏

He is a Design Sketcher and the founder of SKEREN, a institute where you learn, in general terms, about Sketch and Rendering (of those words derives its name).

He is not a famous designer or something like that, but, really, he is a expert in his area.

This year, I been participating in a elective class called: Advanced Sketching for Product Designers, and I think, it has been one of my favorites this semester.

One day, in the class, the professor showed a very beautiful book, and he commented us about Sangwon, the author of the book.

Immediately I asked him if I could see the book. He brought it to me, and then, I fell in love! hahaha.

In these book I found all about how sketch! how to make quick sketches, how to clean sketches, how to apply color, how many colors to use by sketch, etc.

The book is so beautiful, because it is full of drawings, many colors, shapes and different products sketched. What most caught my attention was that it was a book focused on teaching how to sketch, step by step.

After seeing the book, I came running home to research the author, I found his Instagram profile and started to follow him to know sketches and techniques.

Sketching is one of the areas of my career that I enjoy the most, and I liked Sangwon Seok and his work because he is a very complete designer of sketches. He sketches cars, product ideas, fashion designs and know about rendering programs such as Rhino, Photoshop Retouch and Alias.

He is an inspiration for me because someday I want to be a very complete designer. I mean, I want to be a designer who dominate a specific area of Design, and do my work with excellence... Just like him!
