My favourite kind of food

Hello! I hope you are well!

I think Indian food is my favourite kind of food, definitely! According to my experience, it mix many spices, intense flavours, but at the same time soft, because of the texture of the meals. You can find a lot of sweet and sour flavours, and I love that!

In Chile I have visited two Indian Restaurants: Rishtedar and New Horizon, and in both I really enjoyed the food. New Horizon is a humble and small restaurant in downtown Santiago, but cheap and with very tasty food; you can go if you don't have much time, but you want to enjoy new flavours. And Rishtedar, is a more expensive restaurant, but it offers you an experience in India... is really awesome! They teach you the traditions that they have when they eat, ans also, they wash your hands with lemon water after eating. To the ladies they offer bindis (decorative element of the forehead). It is an experience that you must live, a meal that you must savor.

The only thing that can be negative (but not really for me) is the amount of spices and the mouth breath after eating hahaha. A basic example of this, is their bread, called naan, wich is basically a garlic bread. The preparations are vegetable creams, wich inside have nuts, chicken, meats, or more vegetables. The accompaniment is generally white rice.

Knowing its gastronomy generated interest to me for its culture, cinema, lenguage (in fact I speak a little of Hindi). Someday I would like to visit that country!
